Dobry topic

All of these rear disks will work on the 92-00 Civics.
-First off, the 5 lug ITR setup. We all know this works.
-Then there is the JDM 4x114.3 setup off of the ITR before it came to the states.
-All of the Integra rear disks are the same for the 3rd gen, so any of the 3rd gen (DC) brakes will work.
-Also, the 99-00 Si rear brakes will work. I believe that these are the same as the rear Integra disks as well.

-Rear trailing arm with hub assembly for disk brakes (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Upper control arm (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Compensator arms at the front end of the trailing arm (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Rotors (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Brake calipers and brackets (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Brake pads with shims (get the genuine honda ones) (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Parking brake cables (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Brake Booster (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00)
-Master cylinder (92-95 EX/SI, 96-00 DelSol Vtec, 96-00 EX, 99-00 Si, Integra 94-00, 91 civic ex)
-Proportional valve

Rear trailing arms off the following will fit/work
-All integra 91-01
-All civic 92-00
-All del sol 93-97
All these parts are identical (minus the hub).

-All 96-98 Civic 2dr/3dr model upper grills (no modification)
-99-00 Civic 2dr/3dr front ends on to 96-98 civics (corners of bumper must be cut to make it fit)
-Every shift knob
-99-00 Si Gauge cluster to ALL 96-00 civics (plug and play)
-99-00 Si Steering wheel to all other 96-00 civics (bolt on)

As for front calipers:
Civic 92-00 EX and 99-00 Si (em1) share the same size caliper (including piston size), knuckle, and rotor.
Integras 94-01 share that same identical rotor size, and caliper bracket - which means Integra front calipers bolt directly onto the civic ex/si knuckle. The pistons are noticeably larger.
The Civic ABS setup is IDENTICAL to that of the Integra.
(Integra GSR's do NOT have larger brakes - all Integras share the same size brakes.....minus itr. Dont get suckered into paying more for them, if the LS brakes are cheaper, where you are.)
The rest of the 92-00 civics, and eg si hatches will need an ex, em1, or integra front knuckles to bolt the larger brakes on, as the brackets are smaller in size.

(NOTE: You do NOT need abs to use the Integra/Civic ABS calipers! Abs doesnt work that way.)

All 92-95 clusters are plug and play into any model 92-95 civic
All 96-00 clusters are plug and play into any model 96-00 civic

Also, I could be wrong on this one (correct me if I am please) but

All D series intake and exhaust manifolds are interchangeable

d16z6 water pump, tensioner, rear crack seals, oil pump, and etc will fit on d15b7's and d16a6. BUT NOT d16y8!!! bottom end on d16z6, d15b7 and d16a6 i know look almost exactly they same, same casting and such. The d16y8 and mostly d16y7 is different casting. HOWEVER the cracks are different, the oil ports on the crack in the Y8's and gridle, are bigger. YET all d16 cracks are interchagable.

To sum it up:
D16z6/d16y8 real crack seals, water pump, tensioner, ac bracket, oil pump are not interchangable. The metal hose that water is pumped through behind the block are interchanbleable only.
D16a6 (i know its not from 92-00), D15b7, d16z6 real crack seal, water pump, tensioner, ac bracket are interchangable. Basicly you can swap everything mounted on the block over back and forth.

D16y8 and D16z6 Timing belts are interchangable. Even if they state different part numbers! ( The z6 belts tend to be cheaper )
D16y7, D16y8, D16z6, D15z1 valve covers are interchangable.

ALL B series and D series throttle bodies are interchangable. (always use the gasket from the TB)

D16y7 and D16y8 oil pans are NOT interchangable. y7 is baffled and steel and y8 isnt baffled and aluminium.

Springs/coilovers for '94-'01 integras and '92-'00 civics are interchangeable. The only difference is the spring rates.

1992 Honda Accord Wagon Caliper is IDENTICAL to the caliper of the 01 ITR. The piston part, not necessarily the bracket, ill check.
Upgrading DX, LX, CX, HX 96-00 Civics requires the Knuckle from a 99-00 Si or a 96-00 EX for the mounting points for a bigger caliper. Get the Si knuckle if thinking of getting like 91-96 NSX, 94-01 Integra or bigger calipers.

*Someone confirm with ACUTAL experience that the 96-00 Civic EX and SI Knuckles are IDENTICAL and that the calipers are identical.
I know that someone with a 99-00 Si got pads from a 96-00 Civic EX and they didnt fit.

91-96 Acura NSX front calipers bolt onto a 3rd gen ITR, no grinding. Use the NSX pads but ITR rotors.
94-95 Legend GS 2 pot calipers also bolt onto a 3rd gen ITR, no grinding. Use the Legend Pads but ITR rotors.

94-01 Integra (-R) Calipers bolt onto a 99-00 Civic Si.

1996-1998 Civic 4 doors have taillights that are NOT interchangable with a 99-00 Civic 4 door. Different Shape.
1996-2000 Civic Hatches and Coupes taillights are interchangable within year (not coupe to hatch, obviously).
1996-1998 to 1999-2000 Front end conversion DOES require modification. requires the Hood, Bumper, Fenders, AND Headlamp assemblies. Also reccomended is to change to the 99-00 Radiator support, although this is a OEM perfect conversion, it can be ghetto rigged rather easily (and pretty effective) without the hassle of changing the support, as its a pain.

Brake boosters from CRX's are the same as EG's, so if you're in a pinch, vandalize an EF

By request: the 94-97 Accord coup B-pipe in the exhaust fits perfectly on 92-95 Civic coups and hatches .
EDIT: flip it over and it tucks really high up in the exhaust tunnel, thus aiding lowered cars in their fight against speedbumps and potholes.

lower tie bar from a 92-95 eg and a integra one will NOT fit an ek b/c the ek one is noticably longer....i think that is right, please tell me if that isnt tru

94 and up Integra seats bolt into the 92-95 civic, for 96 and up (civics) we just swapped seat tracks and they bolted in. I don't know if the ITR uses a different pattern for seat tracks or not. Larry

From my experience KLEANLSCIVIC is right when he said a rear lower tie-bar from a 92-95 civ\94-01 integra, will NOT work with a 96-00 civ.
The EK is wider, the teg\eg bar is to short.

15/16ths master cylinders are not interchangeable with stock brake boosters, the bolt pattert reversed

however the 90's up brake booster and master cyl combo are interchangeable into a civic with no modification,

however the 40/40 proportioning valve of integras while it is still able to bolt in with one bolt, has a diffrent mounting bracket than the civic ( it is mounted on the passenger side fender well instead of the firewall, weiiirrrdd

b-series heads and blocks are 100% interchange able

d-series are 100% bolt up able, but the engine management sys (OBDX) differs among the diffrent years

d15b7 block / d16z6 head = minime and equivilent to the jdm d15 vtec w/ lower compression

92-95 hatchback and coupe hoods are interchangeable.
92-95 hatchback and coupe hoods are not in interchangle with sedans.
96-98 hatchback, coupes, and four door hoods are interchangeable.
99-00 hatchback, coups and four door hoods are interchangeable.
96-98 and 99-00 civic hatchback, coupe, and sedans frontends are different. Either all 96-98 or all 99-00.

rear bumber on 96-98 and 99-00 are interchangeable.
header-back exhaust ie catalytic converter and cat-back exhaust is interchangeable on 92-00 civics EX's and SI.

92-5 Cx and Vx have a different cat than Dx, Ex, Lx, Si. The four later models offer a cat in line with the exhaust. The Cx and Vx have a cat that comes directly off the manifold. If you swap engines out of Cx, Vx, then they are interchangeable, usually with some sort of modification (header, etc).

B Series DOHC VTEC motors almost all parts are interchangable. With the exception of the GSR. The head on the GSR is different than the B16 or B18C/C5 motors. B16A and B18C5 (or JDM B18C R motor) are almost identical with the exception of internals. Blocks are all interchangable with the heads, as well as the internals.

Ej owners (92-95 Civic Coupe) Can use Integra 4-door rear seats and 2 or 4 door fronts. Bolt it.

Everyone knows that 92-95 Civic and 94+ Integras are the SAME CHASSIS. This means ALL suspension parts are interchangable. All of them

92+ Coupe and 96+ Civic Coupe exhausts should bolt up the same. Hatchs being the exception.

92-95 2/4 door taillights are the same. Hatch different.

92-95 coupe/sedan/hatch sideskirts are all different. , 92-00 civic struts and springs are interchangeable. U gotta u zip ties to secure the struts if u use 96-00 struts on 92-95. 94-01 Integra bolts up to 92-95 with no problem. 94-01 integra rear conrtol arms and rear sway bar, bolt up to 92-95 civic. 94-01 integra seats bolt up to 92-95. 96-00 axle back muffler bolts onto 92-95, 94-01 front brakes whole spindle, bolt up to 92-00 civic. 92-95 all gauge clusters are plug and play. 99-00 civic radio console wont fit in 96-98 civic. 99-00 dashboard will bolt up to 96-98 civic, 99-00 si rear control arms, and sway bar bolt up to 96-00 civics. 92+ civic and integra sunvisors are all interchangeable. 96-00 civic radios are not plug and play for 92-95, 88-95 radios are plug and play. 92-00 civic hatchback rear seats are all interchangeable. 96-00 wiper arms will work on 92-95, 96-00 civic sun visors fit on 92-95. 96-00 civic inside rearview mirror will work on 88-91 civic. 92-95 civic coupe and hatchback doors are interchangeable, 88-95 non vtec sparkplug wires are interchangeable. 92-00 civic radiators are interchangeable. 99-00 civic coupe taillights bolt up to 96-98, 88-00 civic shifters are interchangeable. 92-95 civic headlights are all interchangeable. 94-01 integra fuel pumps are interchangeable with 92-95 civic. 88-95 civic, accord, integra main relays are interchangeable. 94-95 integra injectors are interchangeable with 92-95 civic. 93-97 del sol seats will bolt onto 92-95 civic when swapping brackets, 94-00 integra front control arms and sway bar bolts up to 92-95 civic. there's still alot more I have experienced, I'll post more once I remember.

OK, we know EG doors arent ALL interchangable, but as far as the door HANDLES, what are we lookin at here? (i need a new one and wondered if sedans were compatable)

pretty sure all carpets are interchangeable at least within the same model years 96-00 2/4dr/hatch work together and 92-95 2/4dr/hatch work together but im not sure if 92-95 will work in 96-00 or vice versa

the seat issue has been settled before

B-series Exh. Manifolds (b16, b18, b20) bolt up to stock EG civic exhaust systems Dunno about the rest of the civic series.

99 Ex sideskirts are 2 inchs two long to fit a 92-95 hatch.

You can use the exhaust from an EG hatch or EX coupe (or any exhaust made therefore) on an EK. You have to switch to a header from a EX coupe, and use the cat for an EX coupe as well. Then you just have to lengthen the wires for the second O2 sensor, and route it down and put it in the bung after the cat.
Another option rather than replacing the whole exhaust, is to use a testpipe (or one of those "high-flow racing cats off eBay, it's just a hollow resonator) and place that in the gap where the cat would go.
The second option is generally less costly and easier to do, if you can manage not to snap the bolts on the down-pipe, but we all can't be that lucky.

96-up coupes and hatchbacks share the same length in sideskirts(interchangeable).
-i believe all 92-up hatch axle back r the same.
-92-up axles r interchangable
-s2k steerinwheel would fit 96-up civics. (seen on a fellow ht member's car)

All D16 cranks are interchangeable.
D15 cranks and D16 cranks are not interchangable.
a D17 crank/rotational assembly will fit in any D16 block.

EG mirrors will work in EK. Or vice versa. Check my sig for a how to.

ok 4 wire o2 sensors and harness are intechangeable from EG to EK
upper and lower o2 sensors and stock plug harness can be interchanged also
(lower can be moved to upper and upper to lower)

1996-2000 Honda Civic EX steering knuckles ARE NOT interchangable with the 1997-2000 Acura 1.6EL. The only difference is the caliper mount, it is built further out on the EL for some reason.

Chances are that both the front & rear shocks will not work on your civic. I know the front damper forks on a CRX/EF are smaller than the DC/EG/EK units. The 90-93 teg ones are probably the same as the CRX/EF ones. You may be able to get those to work with the 90-93 teg damper forks though.
The rear upside down U on the shocks of the EKs are smaller than those from the EF/EG/DC shocks. You will either need to replace your lower shock mount bushings with EG/DC ones, or put washers between U and the EK bushing. I always recomend against the washers. They will cause unwanted stress on the bolt that holds the damper to the LCA, and that may lead to failure over time. You cannot swap the LCAs either since EK LCAs are longer than EG/DC/EF ones.

I would suggest getting EK shocks for safteys sake...

-92-95 hatch and coupe carpets Are different...hatch is about 1 inch shorter but it will work with modification
-DC integra sedan rear seats will fit into EG sedans.....backs bolt right in and bottoms need a slight modification to get the loop to reach the factory bolt hole

-All 92-00 sedan and coupe exhausts are interchangeable....the difference being where the cat is placed

-all EG headlights are interchangeable

-DC integra coupe exhaust will bolt up to EG coupe

92-00 civic coupe/sedans have the same spring rate front and rear

92-00 civic hatches have the same rate in the front as the coupe/sedan

92-95 civic hatches rear spring rate is different than coupe/sedan and 96-00 hatch

96-00 civic hatches rear spring rate is different than coupe/sedan and 92-95 hatch

I have a chance to get a CLEAN ASS 98 Civic EX coupe(shell). Now heres the prob, I have a 92 SI hatch with GC coil overs, KYB AGX 4 way adj, Eibach f/r sway bars, 3" exhaust. Not sure what will switch over. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also from what is here on HT curb weught difference is 92 SI HB= 2326, 98 Civic EX= 2508.
Thanks...

i dont no if its on here or if its just obvious, but can i use a b18b1 intake manifold on a d16z6? if not what intake manifold is interchangeable with the d16z6 tthat is biger then the one for the z6? and also will springs for a 90-93 integra work on my 92-95 civic? with kyb agx's?

Ok, some thing I tried and used on my hatch (93 Si)
-Power Windows/Locks:
I've seen 2 ways of retroing this, one of my friends used complete EX doors and wired them up using a inline fuse/relay (thats another story). Doors bolted up though.
I've used the door actuators, and power window regulators, panels, etc... from an EX and wired them up the same way as my friend did, everything bolted up to my non-power doors though.
-Del sol Seats:
I had 3 different sets of these in my hatch, best way was to use the civic/integra seat rails on them (might have to space them out further 1-2 washers), hoever my new seats didn't have washers and I managed to get the holes to line up while sliding the seat front to back. Works fine and comfy.

-Tilt steering:
You'll need the whole steering column assembly, and the bracket under the dash (or maybe just the bracket, thinking about it now - I used the entire assembly on my friend's car to be on the safe side).

-Integra Seats in hatch. The rear uppers from a 94-01 coupe work, the bottoms fit, but you have a wierd gap in there (maybe not that noticable since I have the teg carpet, but too late now). The 4dr lower cusion fits tight but looks stock (hard part is finding a matching coupe upper and sedan lower rear seat). My older-OLDER teg rear seats kinda fit too (test-fit to play around, '1g teg).

-Armrest:
The integra one can fit, but it doesn't match the rest of the interior worth a damn, you need the shifter console and then the dash to get it to work. Better off getting one from a 92-95 civic sedan or order one off ebay, those work better and fit a hella better than the teg one).

-Rear wiper:
It can be retrofitted from a DX hatch to a CX, a lot of work routing the wiring. However only 2 wires need to be ran from the DX switch to the DX rear wiper harness.

-Integra Carpet:
I sold my carpet a lonnng time ago and now decided to get another one ($30 @ local junkyard), complete carpet from a 97 integra. It fits allright. when you throw the floormats and seats back in it looks perfectly stock. Minor cutting IS necessary, and you need to use the styrofoam by the front console from the teg and cut it. The plastic kickpanels (hood latch and ecu) fit fine, everything looks stock.

-Suspension Misc:
Swaybars can be retrofitted to a civic w/o front swap by using the LCA from the car with the sways (pertaining to 92-95 civics). Rears can be installed using teg rear lca's (or aftermarket lca's) and the endlinks and mounting brackets (22mm ITR rear sway needs a subframe reinforcement, beaks and bsq makes nice kits). Strut braces can be interchanged (the standard strut bolt types) from 88-00 civic/tegs. The gsr/del sol/99 Si style front bar can be retrofitted to 92-00 civics and 94-01 tegs by removing the caps (or drilling if necessary) and securing with nuts/bolts and washers. 94-01 tegs and del sols had a crossmember brace (subframe support) that can fit 92-95 civics (dunno about 96-00), didn't notice much but the car didn't really creak when on uneven roads. Steering racks on 92-95 civics can be swapped (just swapped in a non ps rack in my Si), just need to get the matching d-bracket and bushing. Dunno if integra steering racks fit. JDM RACKS DO NOT WORK ON USDM CARS (even if its off a TYPE-R), should be self-explanitory lol. Front struts can be interchanged on a 92-95 civc, 88-91 use ea smaller dia. strut, so you need their fork also. 96-00 don't have the brakeline holders on them. On the rears, they'll work UNLESS: you're using the 96-00 rears, they have a narrow opening (aftermarket LCA's might work, my rear LCA's are narrow and come with a spacer to use when using the wider rear strut). I believe the JDM ones mount like the ITR ones (need to verify), where the bushing is on the strut instead of the LCA and the strut sits in the LCA, the bolt goes through it (not sure, but someone double check incase).

-Brakes:
I used 95 integra front brakes, bolted up - old lines worked fine. Master cylinder to use with the stock civic booster would be the 91 civic EX sedan, can be ordered from local parts place. (Also remember reading about older prelude 91-era master cylinders being used in 4g civics, so that should work - need to look more into it)

-B-Series stuff:
Most b-series items are interchangable, but some items require you to use other things as a "set" of things. b16a and b17a engines have a shorter block height than other b-series (b16b, b18a/b/c, b20b/z), so when changing cranks/rods you have to stick with the same block-height (ie: you can't throw ls crank/rod set into a b16a, but you can throw it into a b16b civic type-R engine since it is the same block height as a b18). LS and CRV crank/rod specs are the same (IIRC), same with B18C1-C5 (same spec - measurement wise). B16B is an oddball since it is basically a destroked ITR engine. Pistons can be interchanged, AS LONG AS ITS THE SAME BORE (b20's use 84mm IIRC whereas the other guys used 81mm). On that note, blockguards can be interchanged also (as long as you follow the cylinder sleeve info above). B18C oilpans (gsr/itr) are the same, but cannot be used on another b-series because of the block girdle (hangs a tad lower) and a different pickup. B18C oilpumps are the same, obd2 ones are cheaper but require the use of a different plastic cover if using it on a obd1 engine because of the crank sensor. b-series waterpumps can be interchanged, if using a B18C waterpump on a non-vtec block you need the B18C timing belt (larger). If using a non-vtec waterpump you need a non-vtec timing belt. B16a/b17a use a smaller belt, so they're better off using their own pump. B-series distributors can be interchanged, non-vtec dizzy on a vtec engine needs a leg to be cut off, but it can work (don't remember about vice-versa). b16/b17/b18/b20 the dizzy can be swapped around, just make sure you replace with what you need (if you have a obd1 car, don't go get a obd0 dizzy because its cheap, or a obd2 dizzy if you don't know how to repin the plug). Axles really depend on your half-shaft, 90-93 half-shaft had male/female on it, and 94-01 has male/male on the half-shaft. B16/B17/B18C5 intake manifolds can be interchanged. B18C1-4 (euro had the other missing ones I think, I know we didn't), dual-stage manifold can be interchanged with, I dunno, a trash can. B18A/B + B20B/Z intake manifolds can be interchanged (dunno if anyone wants to try the crv giraffe intake manifold on their LS?), Exhaust manifolds can be swapped around, difference like mentioned before is the length, and also since b16a/b17's have a shorter block height they don't hang as low. The tranny's can be swapped around, clutches also - just have to match them up. 90-91 cable have a diff # of teeth than the 92-01 trannys (need someone to verify that one). So if you have a 90 cable tranny on ur block, you need the 90-91 clutch, vs the other ones. I don't know about the flywheels between cable and hydro, or starters for that matter (I usually deal with hydro trannys). Sidenote: when doing a swap, or intake manifold swap - try and get a throttle cable + bracket FOR the intake manifold, takes a lot of guesswork out of it (even though it looks like it might fit, better safe than sorry). Hope that helps, I'm tired, gonna gets some z's.

D-Series info: my d15b7 sucks, take a beating and keeps on ticking (quietly), survived over 1yr of abuse (and ECM experiments). Runs like a tough lil chiwawa.

ending note (finally):
some of this info may or maynot be correct, but it is correct as far as I know. Incase I'm wrong, somebody please correct the mistakes - I got out of work and I'mma get some sleep. I hope some people find some of this interchange info usefull, but on that note:
